benghazi, libya, after the deadly embassy attack there. this comes as protests rage in 11 countries. a live look from cairo, egypt, this morning. crowds still gathered outside the u.s. embassy. news 4's melissa mollet live with the latest of the situation on the ground. >> these demonstrations continue overseas. so far more than 200 people have been injured in the protests at 11 u.s. compounds. there have been explosions and fires overnight at the u.s. embassy in cairo. protests have expired to libya and egypt to yemen, iran, and iraq, and officials expect more protests today. the protests over a film made here in the u.s. blasting is many la. police are investigating the man who posted the video online. he is on probation and not supposed to be on the internet. fbi agents have gone to investigate the attacks overseas. there are now four people in custody for the attacks that killed u.s. ambassador to libya christopher stevens. sean smith, tyrone woods, and officer glen doherty were also killed. a bulletin released warning first responders of the potential for large protests in u.s. cities.

. and in benghazi, libya, the violence led to the death of the u.s. ambassador to libya and three other americans. this was all sparked by an internet video apparently made by an american that is critical of the prophet muhammud. the attack that killed ambassador chris stevens may have been coordinated and planned, not just spontaneous violence. they think terrorists took advantage of protests to launch their attack. a team of about 40 marines specializing in anti-terrorism in tripoli to beef up security around the u.s. embassy there. meanwhile, the pentagon moving two warships to the libyan coast. they give the military more flexibility to launch any mission that president obama might order. the president won't say whether he's even considering military action in libya. he does say that justice will be done. >> what we have to do now is do a full investigation, find out the facts, find out who perpetrated these terrible acts and bring them to justice. >> the white house says president obama has spoken to the presidents of libya and egypt and urged them to continue working with the u.s. to make s

. arrests have been made in connection with tuesday's deadly attacks on the u.s. consulate in benghazi. more from tripoli this morning. good morning to you. >> reporter: good morning, savannah. officials have arrested suspects and they have several more under surveillance across the eastern part of the country, but they are not shedding any light as to who these individuals are and what role they may have played in the deadly atta. what we do know is according to libyan officials some of these individuals have been taken into custody after footage emerged at the protest which officials here say was essentially the cover that was exploited by militant groups. they are convinced so far that this was not simple police an outburst or a spontaneous outburst of anger against an anti-islamic film that appeared in the u.s., but rather a coordinated planned attack that way exploited by militant groups perhaps affiliated with al qaeda in the eastern part of libya. >> all right. that report from tripoli this morning with the latest. thank you. it's 7:03. here's david. >>> thank you. the violent anti-am

in libya running the office in benghazi against gadhafi. he once worked as an international trade here in washington. a large mob stormed the consulate with automatic weapons firing at the building before burning it to the ground. stevens was found in a small room where he was taking cover. he and three others killed after they came back to help with evacuations. neighboring egypt scaled the walls, tearing down and burning the american flag. libyan officials held a press conference earlier today. >> we have been looking into this matter seriously since last night. we are gathering information and we are looking at it very closely. we are determined, both the congress and the government to take action on those guys who have murdered innocent people. >> reporter: the protesters angry over an amateur american made film called innocence of muslims. it's critical of muhammed. >> reporter: the local preacher began to talk about it and say this movie, it was only described as a movie, not a youtube-type video, was about to be broadcast nationwide in the united states on the anniversary of 9/1
